At the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016, the French brand Peugeot delighted the public not only with the updated 2008 crossover, but also with its “sporting” package called “GT Line”, which received a portion of visual improvements to the exterior and interior decoration.

Externally, "2008" in the GT Line version stands out against the background of its standard "brother" with a new radiator grille with red "Peugeot" lettering, 17-inch Eridan wheel rims with black inserts, "GT Line" logos on the trunk lid and front fenders as well as a number of elements painted in black chrome.

The dimensions of the "sporty" Peugeot 2008 are identical to those of the base model: length - 4159 mm, height - 1556 mm, width - 1739 mm with a distance between the axles occupying 2537 mm.

Inside, the GT Line is greeted with stainless steel door sills, aluminum pedals, red stitching on the seats and door armrests, as well as red illumination of the main instruments.

It has no other features against the background of the base car - an avant-garde design, a high-quality level of performance, a five-seat layout and a luggage compartment with a volume of 350 to 1400 liters.

The power range of the Peugeot 2008 GT Line does not differ from the standard version - gasoline atmospheric and turbocharged "triplets" of 1.2 liters, developing 82-130 horsepower and 118-230 Nm of torque, and four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbodiesels producing 75-120 " mares "and 230-300 Nm of peak thrust.
Power delivery to the front wheels is handled by a 5- or 6-speed "mechanics", a 5- or 6-speed "robot", or a 6-band "automatic".

Structurally, "2008" in the GT Line version completely repeats a regular car: a front-wheel drive platform, independent front and semi-independent rear suspensions (MacPherson struts and a beam, respectively), electric power steering and disc brakes on all wheels, supplemented by front ventilation.

In the Russian market, the Peugeot 2008 GT Line is not officially sold, but in the countries of the Old World (to be more precise, in France) it is offered at a price of 23,600 euros (~ 1.5 million rubles, at the exchange rate for the beginning of summer 2017).
In the "base" the crossover has: six airbags, ABS, ESP, an uphill start assist system, a multimedia complex, 17-inch "rollers", a dual-zone "climate", Grip Control technology, an auto-brake function at city speeds, a rear-view camera , rain, light and parking sensors, an audio system with eight speakers and other functionality.
