At the Tokyo Motor Show, which took place in October 2015, the German company Porsche brought a very interesting novelty in the face of the “charged” Macan GTS crossover - an intermediate link between the basic “esques” and the fierce version of the Turbo. The car not only received a distinctive "decor" in the exterior and interior, but also acquired new equipment.
Visually, the Porsche Macan GTS features a front bumper with black strips on the side air vents, a modified rear diffuser and 20-inch RS Spyder wheels, finished in Satin Black. As for the rest, it is still the same "predatory" SUV, ready to set the heat on competitors.
The external dimensions of the GTS are slightly different from the basic version S: length - 4692 mm, width - 1926, height - 1609 mm. For the rest of the indicators, it is parity - the wheelbase of the crossover is 2807 mm, and the ground clearance is regulated by means of air suspension in the range from 180 to 230 mm.
The interior of "Makan" GTS for the most part repeats "Esca": "family" design, verified ergonomics, high-quality finishing materials, sports front seats with pronounced side bolsters and fairly comfortable rear seats. But it also has distinctive features - leather and Alcantara seats, and for a surcharge there is also a red tachometer, red seat belts and GTS logos.
The luggage compartment of the crossover holds from 500 to 1500 liters of luggage, and a defective spare wheel is based in its "cellar".
Specifications. In the engine compartment of the GTS version of the "Macan" there is a V-shaped six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine with bi-turbocharging, a direct power supply system and a start / stop function, generating 360 "horses" at 6000 rpm and 500 Nm of peak thrust at 1650-4000 rpm.
In partnership with him work a 7-speed "robot" PDK and a plug-in all-wheel drive with a multi-plate clutch.
The Porsche Macan GTS takes 5.2 seconds to make the starting "spurt" to "hundred" (with optional modifications of the Sport Chrono - 0.2 seconds less). The maximum crossover exchanges 256 km / h, and its average consumption of fuel in mixed mode is fixed at 9.2 liters for every 100 km.
In terms of technology, the GTS version does not differ from the Macan S: MLB / MLP bogie, double wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension with pneumatic elements, electromechanical power steering and ventilated discs of four wheels with a diameter of 350 and 330 mm at the front and rear, respectively.
