On June 28, 2016, the German company Porsche, at a presentation in Berlin, presented to the general public the second "release" of the Panamera luxury hatchback in the high-performance Turbo version. With the change of generation, the car not only began to resemble the five-door version of the 911, but also received a completely redrawn interior, tried on the latest technology and placed a powerful gasoline "eight" under its hood.

Externally, the Porsche Panamera Turbo can be identified by a more prominent front bumper, four trapezoidal exhaust pipes, 20-inch light-alloy "rollers" and a sliding three-section wing. In general, this "grand hatchback" repeats its less powerful "brother" and looks beautiful, graceful and deliberately dynamic.

The overall length of the second incarnation Panamera in the Turbo version is 5049 mm, its wheelbase is 2950 mm, and the width and height do not exceed 1937 mm and 1427 mm, respectively.

Inside, the Porsche Panamera Turbo differs from the 4S modification by an elongated center console with a touchscreen and individual climate settings for the rear passengers, otherwise it copies it - a cool design with analogue-virtual "instrumentation", a stylish multi-steering wheel and mainly touch control of the main functions and high-quality finishing materials.

The interior of the car "flaunts" four separate bucket seats, and its luggage compartment holds from 495 to 1304 liters, depending on the position of the rear seat backs.

Specifications. The "second" Porsche Panamera Turbo is powered by a 4.0-liter (3996 cubic centimeters) V-8 petrol engine equipped with twin-scroll turbochargers, direct injection, 32-valve timing, variable valve timing and valve direction technology and function "start / stop". Its output reaches 550 "horses" at 5750-6000 rpm and 770 Nm of torque at 1960-4500 rpm.
A PDK "robot" with eight ranges and an all-wheel drive system work in the storage compartment with the motor.

The "turbo version" of the luxury hatchback is as dynamic as other supercars - the five-door breaks down from zero to 100 km / h in just 3.8 seconds (with the Sport Chrono complex - in 3.6 seconds). The maximum capabilities of the "German" are at 306 km / h, and his fuel "appetite" does not go beyond 9.3-9.4 liters for the combined "hundred" track.

At the heart of the Porsche Panamera Turbo is a modular bogie called the MSB. In the design of the hatch, high-strength steels, aluminum alloys and composite materials are abundantly involved. The car is equipped with an independent suspension made of "winged metal" both at the front and at the rear - "two-lever" and "four-lever", respectively.
The standard five-door is equipped with an adaptive air suspension, shock absorbers with adjustable stiffness, a fully-controlled chassis and a rack and pinion steering complex with an electromechanical power steering. The German braking system combines aluminum monoblock calipers with 6-piston frontal and 4-piston rear mechanisms, accommodating ventilated pancakes with a diameter of 410 mm and 380 mm, respectively, and a whole set of modern “assistants”.

Options and prices. In Russia, for the second incarnation of the Porsche Panamera Turbo 2016-2017 model year, official dealers ask from 9,990,000 rubles (but this price tag is not final due to the large number of optional "lotions").
In the "base" the car has a large number of airbags, fully LED optics, 20-inch disks, fully-controlled chassis, air suspension, ABS, ESP, BOSE audio system with 14 speakers, a multimedia complex, a parking assistance system, a four-zone "climate", power accessories and other modern technologies that are in charge of comfort and safety.
